FACE ATELIER  is a great cosmetics brand. It was the sponsor for Madonna’s Confessions Tour (how cool is that?!). When I first heard that, I thought if Madonna uses it, it has to be good! And I was right! The products are great and so wearable. No crazy colors! Which I actually appreciate because they do neutral and muted colors like no one else! Their products are really beautiful!

I got the chance to test out five of FACE ATELIER’s products. The first one is the ULTRA LOOSE POWDER in TRANSLUCENT. It is so silky! Like no other translucent powder that I have ever tried. It really smoothes out your skin beautifully. The only slight complaint I have is that you have be careful not to use a lot because it is a little hard to blend in, if you get too much on your brush, but other than that, I love the texture. The ULTRA LOOSE POWDER in TRANSLUCENT is $35, but if you are not sure about it, you can purchase a sample for only $1!

FACE ATELIER’s lip products are really great. They are smooth on the lips and last on your lips for a long time! I got to test out the LIPSTICK in PINK CASHMERE, which is a medium tone pink that is a little bright, because of that hint of brightness, you have to be careful with applying it, so that it does not look gaudy. But when the right amount is applied, it looks gorgeous! FACE ATELIER LIPSTICKS come in a range of great colors, from a COOL CORAL to a MERLOT, and cost $22 each, or you can buy a sample for $1.

Another great FACE ATELIER lip product is their LIP GLAZE. I was worried that the LIP GLAZE would be sticky, but once I applied it on my lips, it was smooth and not sticky at all! In fact it is one of the least sticky lip glosses that I own. I have the LIP GLAZE in the color, ARTIC GOLD. ARTIC GOLD is a sheer color with iridescent shimmer in it. It looks great on its own and looks even better over a lipstick, which makes it super versatile! LIP GLAZES are $24 each and samples are available for $1 as well.

This next lip product is my favorite. It is the LIP RX in NAKED. THe LIP RX is lip treatment that heald chapped lips. It is fragrance free, flavor free and color free, therefore it is the perfect lip balm to mend your chapped lips! I love applying this under any other lip products, such as a lipstick or gloss.

Now that I have ranted about FACE ATELIER’s lip products for awhile, I have to mention their shimmers, because they seriously blow my mind. I got to try out the SHIMMER in CHAMPAGNE. SHIMMERS can be used as face highlights, eyeshadows and so much more. I even like putting these over matte lipsticks to add some dimension to my lips. CHAMPAGNE is a gorgeous color. I can literally just stare at it for awhile because it has so many dimensions to it. It is a taupe color with gold, pink and blue shimmer in it. SHIMMERS are $19 and so worth it because they have so many different uses!

MEHRON is an amazing brand. It is not your typical cosmetics brand. It is not super girly or anything like that, instead it consists of mostly stage makeup, which means that all of the makeup is super pigmented and made to last through hot lights, sweat and anything else that can occur on stage. 

I used to shy away from MEHRON because I was scared of how pigmented and intense their products are but recently I overcame that fear and am oh so happy that I did. I had the pleasure of testing out three of MEHRON’s products and I am over the moon about all of them.

I tried out the MEHRON 8- COLOR PALETTE in TROPICAL. The palette comes with 8 colors. They are pretty big. I would say they are about the size of Make Up For Ever eyeshadows. The colors are semi-soft and water activated. If you try getting some product without any water, almost nothing will get on your brush. But when water is added, they become rich and pigmented creams. A little really goes a long way with these. I love using them as eyeshadow bases because they make eye looks pop so much more than they would on their own. The MEHRON TROPICAL PALETTE is $25.

MEHRON has some really awesome eye products, such as their CELEBRE PRECIOUS GEM POWDERS. Basically they are pigments but they are different than regular pigments because they have the most amazing shimmer to them. The formula is so smooth, despite the shimmer, and they come in the most amazing colors. The CELEBRE PRECIOUS GEM POWDERS come in 12 different colors, which are all birthstone shades. They are great as both crease and all over lid colors and add spice to your everyday eye looks. I have a CELEBRE PRECIOUS GEM POWDER in GARNET, a beautiful color, as you can see from the swatch above. The CELEBRE PRECIOUS GEM POWDERS have great staying power as well and have almost no fallout, which is so rare with shimmery eyeshadows. The best parr of these is the price. They are only $7.95 each! I do not think I have ever seen pigments that are so inexpensive, yet such great quality!

My favorite MEHRON product that I got to test out is the PROLIP PALETTE “B”. The lip products are a lip gloss sort of formula, so they are super smooth but have the color of lip stains and the moisture of lipsticks. The best of all three worlds! The PROLIP PALETTE “B” is a collection of 8 lip products, all in the red and berry families. They are all so beautiful and if you look through the slideshow above, you can see for yourself! And I love that they can be applied lightly for a sheer wash of color or more heavily for a bold lip! Just a word of advice- these lip products are pretty hard to apply with your fingers, instead I recommend a lip brush, and guess what- the palette comes with a great one!
