MICHAEL TODD COSMETICS (www.MICHAELTODDCOSMETICS.com) was started by Michael Todd, a makeup artist, and Lewis Hendler, co-founder of scunci International. MICHAEL TODD COSMETICS has over 1,100 products in its line, therefore there is literally something for everyone! All of the products are made of really high quality ingredients, which is great. I was recently sent some products from MICHAEL TODD COSMETICS, so here is my review on them.

The first product that I was sent was the men’s fragrance, UNCOMMAN. Since I am a girl and am not the best to test this fragrance, I gave it to my boyfriend to test out.. and he LOVED it! It is his new favorite cologne and it’s my favorite cologne on him.  It is not heavy and overbearing like some other colognes. The base notes are Indian Sandalwood, Tonka Beans and Cinnamon, while the middle and top notes are Orange Tree Leaves, Citrus Limes and Berries with a hit of Rosemary and Ginger. The fragrance is $79 and completely worth it. The bottle is really nice and the scent is light yet masculine. Trust me, your guy will love this cologne and so will you!

The second product was SINGULIERE, a women’s fragrance, which I cannot get enough of. It is super unique and the coolest part is that the scent changes. I am not sure how it does it chemically but it is brilliant! When the perfume is first sprayed, it smells citrusy, like mandarin oranges, pineapple, peaches, apricots and passion fruit. But then the scent changes to a sultry scent, with notes of roses, vanilla, caramel, almonds and cinnamon. When you order the perfume, you can choose what bottle you want it in. One of the bottles are a modern crystal look, while the other one is a more vintage bottle with a classic stick applicator. SINGULIERE is $79, which is much less expensive than department store fragrances, yet it has the same high level of quality!

I was also sent a VIVIDE GLACE LIP GLOSS in BLANK STATE. BLANK STATE is a rose color with gold shimmer and it is absolutely beautiful. It is pretty pigmented and the color is definitely build-able, which make it great to wear both during the day and the night. The lip gloss is not sticky at all and has a really smooth application. The VIVIDE GLACE LIP GLOSS is $15, which I would say is a fair price for this lip gloss and it is available in 37 amazing colors!

The final product that I received was a MINERAL EYE SHADOW in SUNSHINE KEY, which is a beautiful, beautiful color! I really love neutral eyeshadow shades during the day and night and one of the problems that I usually have is that there really are not many brown eyeshadow with shimmer that are appropriate for nighttime. But this eyeshadow filled that void. SUNSHINE KEY is a brown with silver, gold and green shimmer, which is amazing! The jar it comes in is really perfect too because a lot of mineral eyeshadow can easily be spilled, which gets really messy but this jar has a sifter so only a little product comes out at a time. The MINERAL EYE SHADOW comes in 21 colors, which are all really pretty. It is $17 and let me assure you the eye shadow is worth more than that because the quality is really nice! It has great staying power and does not have fallout either. The MINERAL EYE SHADOWS are also on sale at www.allcosmeticswholesale.com for only $10.99!! The only way to describe my hair is unruly. I used to go to camp when I was younger and I remember my counselors would always tell me to brush my hair and I tried explaining to them that my hair was brushed and it just looked wild because it really does have a mind of its own. I struggled with unruly wavy hair for a looong time, until I discovered hair straighteners around 7th grade, and since then I have straightened my hair almost everyday and that has lead to one not so nice result: heat damage. I still have seemingly healthy hair but I wish it was as healthy looking as it is when it is wavy but I just cannot wear it wavy because it looks crazy! Until… 

I found LIVING PROOF products. Their WAVE, CURL STYLING CREAM is my new holy grail product. I just put a bit of this in my hair, when it is damp and then let it dry naturally. And voila! Wavy hair without all the frizz and craziness! A 4 ounce container of this product is $24, which I thought was a tad pricey at first but you only have to use a pea-size amount, so this will last a very long time!

The other product from LIVING PROOF that I tried was the LEAVE- IN CONDITIONER. As I mentioned before I was fairly damaged hair so I love conditioner because it helps my hair look better. I use a conditioner by Garnier Fructis, followed by Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and now LIVING PROOF LEAVE- IN CONDITIONER. I use this mainly just when I know that I am going to straighten my hair afterwards because I do not like many products in my hair so I do not use it with the WAVE, CURL STYLING CREAM. The  LIVING PROOF LEAVE- IN CONDITIONER really does moisturize my hair, without getting it greasy. My hair just looks so much healthier and shinier when I use this, so I definitely recommend it! It is also $24 for the 4 ounce container, and soo worth it!

I totally had my doubts about this product. I could not imagine that one product could actually “do it all”, but it can and I am still amazed by the results. I have been using WONDERBAR for about a month now.  WONDERBAR basically detoxifies your skin. At first my skin broke out a bit and I started to panic and regret trying this product but then I looked at the website and WONDERBAR says that reaction is totally normal as it brings all the toxins in your skin to your skin’s surface. WONDERBAR has the essence of over 700 herbs & plants in it.. you read that correctly OVER 700! How insane is that?! The phase where your skin may break out or become a little dry is called the “Healing Crisis”, but no worries because it does not last that long and your skin will emerge so much better than it was before you started using the WONDERBAR. It will be glowy and radiant! On a side note- do not use Mineral Powders with the WONDERBAR because Mineral Powders clog your pores and will therefore work against the WONDERBAR. I recommend this product tenfold. I absolutely adore it and I think it is definitely one of the best skincare products on the market! It is a bit pricey but there is really no price for amazing skin.
